It gives information on the origins of EIA's, international principles related to EIA's and what the international EIA commitments are. It gives a great overview and is a good starting point for further research on EIA's.|'Whether interested in theory or practice, the contribution of international EIA norms to process, substance and integration is admirably documented and analysed in this book, which is a significant addition to the literature on EIA and the law at all levels.
